Welcome to Dinky Dot Discovery
We actively encourage exploring, excitement and discovery!
Whether we are rolling, tapping, scrunching or tickling, we welcome independant child led learning and embrace the ideas that are forming with each individual.
Adults can take time to observe their little ones engage and gain confidence in small group settings. Many friendships are formed amongst children and adults during the classes allowing the fun to continue long after classes have finished!

UPDATE
Dinky Dot Discovery will be on hold for the foreseeable future due to the current coronavirus outbreak.
I will happily honour all refunds for any prepaid classes.
We are currently on self isolation for 14 days as of the 15-03-20

Story Hands
Story massage and sensory stories to share with young and old.
We had great fun supporting Blythe Hill Festival on the Woodland stage to deliver our first live Story Massage! Keep your eyes peeled for more local pop ups in the coming months!
Dinky Dot on tour!
We are providing Sydenham garden with a little sensory area for the De Frene market garden festival this year along side a pop up children's bookshop. They both proved to be very popular with our small visitors. We will be supporting plenty of local events for 2019, please get in touch if you think we could help you too!
Our Classes
Baby Baskets 6 - 18 months
These sessions offer babies access to themed treasure baskets full of items ready to explore! Each week more items are added to the basket so as to engage baby in new experiences.
Sessions will also invite adults and babies to participate in a singing session which actively uses either instruments or Makaton sign as part of the learning experience.
All classes end on a multi sensory massage which makes use of everyday items in unexpected ways!
Story hands 1 - 99 years!
Interactive story sessions which recreate well known and loved literature with the added bonus of tactile artefacts and a story massage to add to the experience! Children and adults will be shown the key massage strokes to help create songs and stories, this helps increase children's understanding of language and a deeper knowledge of story telling.
Our venues
Mondays
Monday's are all about Moon Lane! A fabulous independent book shop based between Forest Hill and Catford. We host classes here during the morning, but that shouldn't be the only reason for a visit....
Thursdays
Punk me up ceramics cafe are hosting classes on Thursday mornings during the Autumn term. We are really looking forward to working with the team here and are hoping to paint a rainbow llama soon to patch our patchwork unicorn!
